Dental Receptionist

About the business and the role:

We have an excellent opportunity for a friendly and outgoing person to join our front office team!

We are a small but busy practice experiencing consistent growth which offers the candidate the opportunity to grow their career within our practice.

We are seeking a front office super star! Dental experience preferred, but willing to provide training to the right candidate.

The position is up to 40hrs a week Monday-Friday. Offering above award wages which will depend on your experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming patients with a smile
- Confident in answering phone calls and dental enquiries
- Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
- Follow-up calls post treatments
- Confident in understanding patient treatment plans, capable of delivering the plans to patients and scheduling future planned appointments
- Managing patient invoicing and accounts
- Patient care and management
- Liaising with Director and Dentists to ensure all runs smoothly
- Assist with our patient recall systems and clinical reports
- Knowledge of sterilisation and infection control
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Exceptional work ethics with time management skills
- Familiarity with medical/dental terminology
- Basic computer skills - email, Microsoft Office
- Work experience in the dental industry will be an added advantage
- Experience in using HICAPS system
- Experience with dental software (D4W)
- Ability to both work individually and part as a team
- Problem solving and a 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to adapt to needs of the dentists and patients
- Extremely reliable, professional and organised
- Friendly, positive attitude & strong interpersonal skills
- High level of English and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Hygiene awareness
- Great, bubbly customer service is a must!

Dental Hygienist

About the business and the role:

We are a busy private practice in Alice Springs. We are looking for a dental hygienist that is looking for a change of scenery and wants to join our highly skilled team!

You will be entering a small multicultural team of dedicated, but fun-loving health care professionals who will all do their best to make you feel welcome and settle in. Your appointment book will be full, and you will work closely with the dentists and support staff to service our happy and well-maintained patients.

Key Information
- Full-time: 38 hours per week on a permanent contract
- Start date: as soon as possible, but negotiable for the right candidate
- Salary $90,000-$125,000 per year
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, no weekends
- Supplementary; commission is an option if preferred
- Assistance in relocation, and accommodation assistance offered
Experience and Salary

Great if you come with years of experience, but we are open to mentoring the right new graduate candidate. We need someone who is enthusiastic and has a positive chair side manner.

Depending on experience we are offering $90,000-$120,000 per year. This salary is based on a 38-hour working week. Our start date can be straight away. Shared staff accommodation can be arranged if you are relocating by yourself. If you are moving with your partner or family, we can assist with the relocation financially and otherwise.
